Crouch End Open Studios

The first Crouch End Open Studios (CEOS) Art Trail was in 2004. Since then a vast array of art work has been shown in various locations around N8 every year:

painting, drawing, photography and printmaking, ceramics, installations, film, sculpture and digital art.

For artists it has been a way to engage with the public: a chance to talk about their work and find out how it is perceived by others.

Importantly for many artists it is an opportunity to sell work. Cooperation between the artists and local businesses is at the heart of the event.

Shops provide some of the exhibition spaces as well as sponsorship either financial or in-kind: a dialogue that has enriched the cultural scene

in Crouch End and further embedded the artists into the life of the community.

‘RANDOM' is an intriguing exhibition where a small group of the CEOS artists exhibit work together in a gallery setting.

It is a glimpse of what is to come in May 2018. It also aims to act as an invitation to new artists to apply for CEOS 2018.
